I recently shot the one-woman band Bakkuda as she performed at Soda Bar in San Diego. She had a friend running her samples which freed her up for singing, dancing and really just putting on a great, high-energy show. Bakkuda is self-described as a combination of electronica, dream pop, synthpop, indie and alternative RnB.
